Heather Dean is Head of Business Support at Buckinghamshire Business First and Ngage Solutions.
Heather joined Ngage Solutions in 2005 as a Business Development Manager to work with the Business Link contract, initially using her expertise and knowledge of training and qualifications to design innovative programmes and projects to support SMEs and workforce development at regional and local levels. In 2012, Ngage merged with Buckinghamshire Business First to become a subsidiary of the Bucks Business First Group, and Heather now heads up a dedicated business support team for the combined organisation. The role includes contract management for various grant funding programmes including 2 Leader contracts (providing support for rural businesses), Sustainable Routes (promoting sustainable travel to businesses), and Woodfuel Woodland Improvement Grants. Other business support includes bespoke one to one advice and signposting for Bucks businesses, skills and employment advice for employers and business start up support and advice.
